The 2014 Cheese Days Chase will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014, and is sponsored by Klondike Cheese Company! We will once again have the kids race before the 5K and 10K runs. The kids race is sponsored by the Monroe Clinic.
The 2014 festival marks the 100th Anniversary of Cheese Days! Mark your calendars for the race and festival--it's going to be a fantastic event you don't want to miss!

For the month of March only there is early bird sign up giving all who register online for the Chase by March 31, 2014, a discount. This is available for only online registrations.

Advanced registration $30 (postmarked no later than Saturday, August 30, 2014, to guarantee a shirt. $35 day of race (shirts are not guaranteed). Fees are non-refundable. Event held rain or shine. A minimal number of extra shirts may be available after advanced registration, but are not guaranteed. Pre-register to get a 2014 Cheese Days Chase T-shirt.

Pick up your race packet at the Avalanche Hockey food stand on the square between 10:00 am and 9:00 pm
Saturday, September 20
7:30 am - Registration
8:30 am - Kids Race
9:00 am - 5K and 10K run (in bib timing)
9:00 am - Two mile walk/fun run (not timed)
Awards will be given in the Minhas Brewery lot at the corner of 12th Street & 16th Avenue; Monroe, WI. Participants will exchange the tear-offs on race bibs for one cheese sandwich and one beverage. Root beer will be provided for racers under 21.
*Please note: participants MUST be wearing a Cheese Days Chase race bib and be of legal drinking age to be served beer. ID will be checked.
5K and 10K Race Awards
Trophy – First place in each age group
Cheese – Second and third place prizes
No awards for the walk.
Pre-registered shirts not claimed by start of race will be redistributed.
Sign up to volunteer for the 2014 Cheese Days Chase. We are in need of course marshals and water stop volunteers. Email email@example.com if you are interested in volunteering.
You will function as a traffic cop for the participants in the run/walk on Saturday morning (race day). You are the eyes and ears of the race and your role is vital. We are asking you to bring a cell phone (911) to report any injury or related problem should an accident occur. You will be assigned a specific location and should report to your assigned area by 8:45 am on race day. Your shift will end at approximately 10:30 am or when the last runner passes which will be followed by a bicyclist.
On Saturday morning (race day), you should report your assigned water stop by 8:45 am. Be prepared to fill a lot of cups! Your shift is over at approximately 10:30 am or when the last runner passes which will be followed by a bicyclist.
