The Avalanche Girls Team hosted the Viroqua U12 Girls on Saturday, December 15 for a double header.  Viroqua dominated the first game winning 7-1.  Tessa Janecke scored the lone Avalanche goal.  The Avalanche recorded 37 shots on Viroqua's goalie.  Sarah Nicholas recorded 14 saves for the Avalanche.  The Avalanche dominated the second game winning 8-2.  Scoring for the Avalanche in this exciting game were Alyssa Knauf (2), Cammi Ganshert, Tessa Janecke (4), and Anika Einbeck.  Earning assists were Haley Knauf (2), Alyssa Knauf, Tessa Janecke, Lily Brewer, and Cammi Ganshert.  Sarah Nicholas recorded 13 saves.

On Sunday, the girls hosted the DC Diamonds U12A team, but came up short losing 1-7.  Alyssa Knauf scored the lone Avalanche goal, assisted by Tessa Janecke, and Anika Einbeck.  Goalie Sarah Nicholas recorded 29 saves.
