In a shutout victory, U12 Girls got the better of Viroqua 8 - 0 at SLICE on Saturday. U12 Girls tallied up two unanswered goals to take the lead in the first period. U12 Girls gained four straight goals in the second period and held on to its lead. U12 Girls never looked back. In the final period U12 Girls scored two unanswered goals padding its lead and winning the game.

U12 Girls's Lilah Bauer got two goals for U12 Girls. U12 Girls's Brooke Teubert made two goals for U12 Girls. Alyssa Knauf, Rebekah Rath, Ally Einbeck, and Anika Einbeck each tallied one goal for U12 Girls.

In the crease, U12 Girls's Sarah Nicholas had zero saves to get the win. Viroqua's Goalie Player had only 24 saves on 32 shots on goal and got the loss.

This was the first game for Viroqua but U12 Girls entered the game with a record of 7-6.
