On Sunday, November 10 the Avalanche U10 Girls hosted the DC Diamonds for an early morning match-up.  The Diamonds came on strong with two goals in the first period.  Lilah Bauer lit the lamp to end the period 2-1 Diamonds.  Only 40 seconds into the 2nd period, Marlies Brandli tied the game up at 2-2 but was followed by 2 more goals from the Diamonds. The Diamonds started the third period strong and added 2 more points to their 4-2 lead.  With only 30 seconds left in the game Anna Malone scored one for the Avalanche but it was not enough to stop the Diamonds. All of the U10 Avalanche team worked hard but fell to the DC Diamonds with a final score of 6-3.
