On Sunday, Nov 24, the Avalanche PeeWee A team was defeated by the Madison Polar Caps B team by a score of 8 to 3. The physically bigger and strong Polar Caps team took charge early scoring the first 3 goals. Joe Wyss scored the Avalanche’s first goal on a pass from Cade Janecke mid-way through the second period. The Polar Caps scored again but the Avalanche responded with another goal of their own. The goal was scored by Anika Einbeck assisted by Tessa Janecke to make the score 4 to 2. The Polar Caps scored 4 unanswered goals to end the second period with a score of 8 to 2. The Avalanche defense played strong in the third period not allowing any goals. Travis Edmunds scored the final goal of the game for the Avalanche.

The Avalanche played hard the whole game outshooting the Polar Caps 39 to 30. They had many good scoring opportunities but somehow the Polar Caps goalie would make the save. The Avalanche goalie, Jayden Johnson, had 22 saves.
