The Avalanche U12/U14 Girls team hosted the U12 DC Diamonds.  Anika Einbeck started the game scoring with an unassisted goal.  The DC Diamonds responded with two goals in the second period and one in the third.  Haley Knauf put one in the net with assists from Cammi Ganshert and Lilah Bauer.  The game clock ran out, leaving the Avalanche defeated by the DC Diamonds 3-2.  Goalie Jenna Schmerbach recorded 27 saves.  The Avalanche outshot the DC Diamonds 29-20.  The last Avalanche Girls games will be in Dubuque on March 15 and at home at 11:00 on March 16.
