The inevitable turkey hangover hit the Avalanche Pee Wee B team as they lost a rough one to McFarland 6-2 at home.  Three main players were unavailable for the game, Scoring for the Avalanche were Payton Hathaway and Gavin Roth, on an assist from Hathaway.  It was not a very clean game, as there were a total of 12 penalties called, 5 of which were against the Avalanche.  Goalie Xander Obert had 21 saves in the loss.

On Sunday morning, the Avalanche Pee Wee B team were mighty once again as they faced Sauk Prairie at home.  Payton Hathaway would start off the scoring early, on his way to another hat trick for the season.  Also achieving a hat trick for the game was Kyle Theorin, as he was not playing goalie today.  Adding goals for the Avalanche were Jayden Downs, Gavin Roth, Haden Barker, Carson Kurschner and D.J. Rath.  Rath led the team in assists as well, with two.  Also contributing assists were Christian Carpenter, Roth, Jaryn Fonseca and Downs.  The team skated very well, and goalie Xander Obert had 27 saves in the 11-2 victory.  Next game is a rematch with Sauk Prairie at their home ice on Saturday at 11:30 AM.  Hope to see you there, and GO AVALANCHE!
